Message from the Head of Department
Conrad Ibala
Head of Automotive & Mechanical Engineering
Welcome to the Automotive and Mechanical Engineering Department, where we develop practical skills for the technologies that move people, industries, and economies forward. Our training combines sound engineering principles with hands-on experience in vehicle systems, diagnostics, maintenance, repair, fabrication, and workshop practice.
We prepare trainees to work safely, accurately, and creatively in modern automotive and mechanical environments. Through competency-based learning, problem-solving, and exposure to industry practices, our department equips graduates for employment, entrepreneurship, further study, and meaningful contribution to the transport and manufacturing sectors.
